There is a solution since years. Proved and worked.

We also have this problem.
Unfortunately we use OSISOFT - PI and Wonderware Inbatch, both are sensitive
to i.e. DST changes, so keeping in synch automatically is out of the
question overhere...

Subject: [foxboro] How to keep accurate time

Dear List,
We have been struggling for many years with the inability of our IA system
to keep in sync with real time. We seem to lose about 1 minute per month.
We are currently running IA 8.7. this gets to be frustrating when trying to
correlate events outside the control system with the control system.

The advice from Invensys has been that the only way to fix this is to add
the GPS timekeeper function. While this is not a herculean activity it just
bugs me that my home PC can keep better time than our control system.

Anyone have a similar problem with other solutions?
