Hi Kashif,

If you do not have QF1009414 installed, please do so.

I do not know what the limit is. Limit is also depending on your
hardware configuration.
In my bench mark testing I was using different configurations:
A configuration with 21000 points (70% was not changing).

Another bench mark test, I used more then 4800 points per sec update
(client was PI and Matrikon OPC Explorer). PI configuration had to
change, it couldn't handle the massive updates. After providing PI more
(internal) buffer space and set its scan time to each 5 sec, the
application worked properly (All the AIM OPC Server CPU and network
loadings were single digits).

In OPC Server I did used aliasing, most objects where Read-Only, and
used the Matrikon AIM OPC Server Configurator.

The problem with AIM*OPC Server is that Matrikon and PI client installed
on the same machines read some tags bad whereas they are good in
Foxboro. When I restart the AIM* OPC server, the bad tags start reading
good whereas previously good tags start reading bad.

Is there some issure with update rates or maximum number of tags. I
recently added 100 tags in OPC server. If there is a limit, can anyone
guide what it may be.
