Hi Kashif, If you do not have QF1009414 installed, please do so. I do not know what the limit is. Limit is also depending on your hardware configuration. In my bench mark testing I was using different configurations: A configuration with 21000 points (70% was not changing). Another bench mark test, I used more then 4800 points per sec update (client was PI and Matrikon OPC Explorer). PI configuration had to change, it couldn't handle the massive updates. After providing PI more (internal) buffer space and set its scan time to each 5 sec, the application worked properly (All the AIM OPC Server CPU and network loadings were single digits). In OPC Server I did used aliasing, most objects where Read-Only, and used the Matrikon AIM OPC Server Configurator. When I restart the AIM* OPC server, the bad tags start reading good whereas previously good tags start reading bad. = Is there some issure with update rates or maximum number of tags. I recently added 100 tags in OPC server. If there is a limit, can anyone guide what it may be. = Regards, = Kashif Ijaz INTECH Process Automation> Subject: Re: [foxboro] AIM*OPC SERVER Problem on AW70 (version 7.1)> Date: Mon, 17 Mar 2008 02:06:23 -0500> From: Andreas.Weiss@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: foxboro@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > > The tags are all CPBs, what do you mean by AOAs and SVs?=3D20> > Refer to Application Object Services User's Guide (B0400BZ) for detailed> information regarding AOS.> > SV may be a Shared Variable.> > Regards,> Andreas> > > _______________________________________________________________________> This mailing list is neither sponsored nor endorsed by Invensys Process> Systems (formerly The Foxboro Company).
