AIM*Datalink can access any real-time point. The restriction to
configured tags applies only to historical data.

I'm interested in bypassing AIM* because I believe you can only access

configured tags. I would like to be able to improve a visualization tool

I have created by allowing one to do "live loop" to borrow a term from

DBDoc, a wonderful 3rd party Baileys tool. I would like to be able to

interrogate any parameter in the system live. Similar to the Star button

in IACC.

 

 

We use PI and PI provides a decent SDK for accessing historical data for

hidden tags.

Hi Nawaz,

 

 

 

You should be able to use the AIM*Datalink package you've purchased to

access historical data from your AIM* historian.  You should not need

to purchase another package.
