Hi Marc,
I was able to connect AIM OPC DA to Infusion FE (installed on same host).
Though, if possible, you should consider the IADAS driver. It is much faster
and specially build for Infusion CE.

Marc,

AIM is compatible with Infusion 2.0 and IA 8.5. Steps 3 and 4 could be swapped
without issue. AIM files are loaded in /opt/aim, there are no files loaded in
/etc, as far as I know.

Subject: [foxboro] AIM with InFusion

All,
We are in process of setting up a demonstration/development test bed with I/A
version 8.5, AIM, and InFusion 2.0 and our installation order was as listed -
1) I/A 2) Quick Fixes 3) AIM 3.3.1 4) Infusion 2.0.

I recall that IOM stated InFusion was compliance with AIM, however, when we
complete the InFusion installation, the historian instance was removed from the
/etc/ files and AIM is not functional.

Anyone know if AIM is compliant with InFusion? If it is, did we get the
installation order correct?

Marc
