I am blessed by mr. Hawker's comments. The things that men teach other
men can and will ultimately be forgotten. But those things which are
"taught" to men by the LORD (who is the GREAT TEACHER) are written
indelibly upon their heart and not simply their intellect. That man who
has been taught by the LORD that he is a sinner, will indeed come unto him,
while those who are merely made aware of this fact by the teaching of men,
will soon forget that lesson and return to their wallowing in the mire. O
that HE might illuminate our minds and write HIS WORD upon our heart.
