Here is your periodic construction update:
- The PAPIs on rwy 22 and Rwy 04 are fixed. It helps us if you let us know
of any problems on the airfield.
- Taxiway A construction is progressing but unfortunately the
northeast hangars are still blocked. As soon as I see an opportunity to get
access to the runway for the northeast hangar pilots I will. The contractor
and I talk regularly and he is going to improve the access as soon as he is
able.
- All of the paint has been removed from runway 13/31. They have begun to
lay down the sealcoat.
- Taxiway B is just beginning to have the paint removed.
- After the sealcoat is down on taxiway A and runway 13/31 there is a cure
period and then the base coat of paint goes on. After a short cure period
the reflective glass beads go down and the project is finished.
