*IMPORTANT NOTICE*

Please be advised that IA Group has taken over the management of CIOU (Chief
Information Officer Unit) from A&S Group with effect from 2nd January, 2010.
The physical hand over took place on 14th Jan, 2010. Ag S/L Brenda Chan
replaced F/L Michael Chan as OC of the new unit which has now been renamed
as ITSU (Information Technology Service Unit). From now on, please refer all
IT related questions to Brenda Chan bwschan@xxxxxxxxx or Fred Lui
Fred.lui@xxxxxxxxxxxx .
The new ITSU will take care of all HQ IT related hardwares and softwares,
including updating/maintenance of the HQ website and email accounts. The
previous IT arrangements made by the formerly CIOU was much complicated than
we thought, e.g. all web materials and emails were moved to an unknown
company in USA where the internet connections casused us problems. Except "a
bunch of passwords" as said by Michael, we received nothing more. ITSU will
attempt to recover everything hopefully in 3 months or earlier. Meanwhile,
please be patient with us. The old HKACC website will be reactivated and
will be updated soon.
Except HQ staff, for those who received email accounts like
XXXX@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx from CIOU, kindly note that we will cease to provide
the service starting from 1st April, 2010. No new email accounts of
XXXX@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx will be created while existing accounts will become
inoperative. You are reminded to provide your usual email addresses to HQ
before the date. Until then, sending of emails from HQ will remain
unchanged.
