hello Everyone,
after digging into the bin files for hsmm mesh, and struggling with
Vi. i have found 2 sites that list the commands for Vi.
after i struggled with vi (mainly because i never used it, and listened
to people complain about it), i decided to find out more about it. Hey
it is built into the linksys routers. after a few searches i found the
following pages. Then i realized the power it has! For example i can do
this: :25,35w Filename<enter> it will take lines 25 through 35 and write
them to a file that you named. try that in notepad? you can insert
files, and there is an undo function. it is not something i would use
everyday, but it has a lot of power in a very useful package.

For those non-meshers, vi is a basic file editor built into unix and
linux. Think of it as a scaled down notepad< but with more power. it is
like taking a fiat 500 and putting a chevy 305 under the hood.
Thank you Ben for giving me a push to try it. i tried and liked. i will
use it again! <GRINN>

PS. anyone else use vi?
