Here is some user experience with openbravo (I used the pos not erp though)
make sure that you do not use the derby database as it is not compatible with
say mysql. If using the pos for anything other than restraunt use as it was
designed for there is a lot of java code to write.
I was using it in my computer repair shop until the derby database crashed and
lost info and I couldn't get it recovered. It was after that I chose to switch
to something different. Which I have since changed from that as well. I am now
using a solution that is specifically designed for pc repairs. It is still
young, but growing well. The software designer is also an owner of a pc repair
shop so it helps that the designer is also a daily user as well, and with a
community providing feedback for revisions helps lots!
