Hi Storm,
Apparently my sound system plays in mono since I don't hear the stereo
mark sound effects.

Howdy Jude,
I can confirm this one. It only seems to happen for me when I start the
selection in the middle of one line, and end it on a second line. It doesn't
always happen though, which makes it harder to find the problem.
If you press Fenrir+x and don't hear the mark in your right ear, it appears
that the first mark is removed. So, when you press it 2 or 3 times, you are
just resetting the first mark, which is why you get the error message.
Thanks,
Storm

Many times I need to hit windows-x just to hear any marking sound at the
start of an area to be marked. Then maybe two or three times at the end
of the area to be marked I hear silence when using windows-x to mark that
point. Then I try to hit windows-c and am regularly told one or two marks
are needed. If I can get something into a clipboard windows-v does paste
it out for me when I want it pasted. This has been happening on slint.
