Hello FCLFC Members!
There's an opportunity to do some tabling to promote FCLFC this Saturday and
Sunday at the Festival Latino in Downtown Columbus (Genoa Park, 303 W Broad St,
Columbus, OH 43215). It's a quick turnaround, because we just received all the
details, but we could use extra people on each shift to provide company and
support!
Saturday, Aug 11:
11:00-3:30pm- Michelle Moskowitz Brown
3:30-5:45pm- Christie Nohle
5:45-8:00pm- Karima Samadi
Sunday, August 12:
11:00-3:30pm- Julialynne Walker
3:30-5:45pm- Cheryl Graffagnino
Here are details from Jalisa below:
Cheryl and I have parking passes and VIP wristbands (free cooling area with
refreshing beverages) for participants. Please email individually or call to
schedule a time to drop off your material and pick up the passes. As a
reminder, the event is at Genoa Park, 303 W Broad St, Columbus, OH 43215. When
you arrive, find an event organizer. They will be able to tell you where the
Local Food Action Plan tent is located. If you have material you need to unload
that day, you can drive up to the tent. The car must be parked in the COSI
parking lot no later than 10:45 am. You can arrive as early as 9am on Saturday
and Sunday to set up your material if you are the first participant of the day.
There will be a 10x10 tent, an 8 foot table and 2 chairs. You will have access
to the 8 foot table that will have the Columbus Public Health tablecloth on it.
We will have a separate table that will hold all of the printed materials from
other partners. If you do not have enough material to take up the full 8 foot
table, we can place the printed material on the 8 foot table instead of the
small table during your reserved time.
This opportunity is not limited to Outreach & Engagement members, but rather ~
everyone!
