Join the Ohio Farmers Market Network, in partnership with Case Western Reserve
University and Produce Perks Midwest for the 12th annual Ohio Farmers Market
Conference. Hosted once again in Dublin, this year's conference is sure to
provide the training and networking opportunities we all crave this time of
year.
This year's conference will include Food Safety 101 with the Ohio Department of
Agriculture, a statewide report from Produce Perks Midwest and an update on the
Farmers Market Promotion Program from the organization. Other topics include
strategic and long term planning, cultural competencies and more, including
FreshLink Ambassador training hosted by Case Western (see the graphic and
separate registration information below).
In addition to our Market Manager track, we're hosting a robust Producer track
which includes display techniques, making personal connections with customers,
farmers market approval process, growing your business through wholesale, CSA
or value added, and much more! (Managers, we've provided copy to share with
your producers at the bottom of this newsletter - simply cut and paste!)
We hope you'll join us in Dublin next month for learning and networking with
your colleagues from around Ohio! As we mentioned in our annual letter, the

one-day conference, full of workshops and panels geared towards growing,
enhancing and improving your business.

New this year, OFMN is offering a complimentary one year membership with the
purchase of a conference ticket. In addition to the conference, producers are
invited to join a networking dinner starting at 6:30 PM. Meet and greet with
managers and fellow producers from around the state.
