Dear Valued Community Stakeholders,
Attached please find draft revisions pertaining to the Columbus Zoning
Code. These provisions implement shared goals and recommendations that are
within the 2017 Green Business and Urban Agriculture Strategic Plan and the
2016 Columbus and Franklin County Local Food Action Plan, which both aim to
enable, support, and grow a stronger and more efficient local food system.
Please see the attached Legislation Fact Sheet for more information.
Please review the proposed code changes and share these documents with your
membership and constituency. Comments may be submitted via email to me
directly at CLGraffagnino@xxxxxxxxxxxx by midnight December 14, 2020. This
code change will be scheduled for full review by the Columbus Development
Commission, community stakeholder groups, area commissions, and major civic
associations, prior to being submitted to Columbus City Council for
adoption.
