Paul has just purchased the latest version of Jaws, and was wondering
How many licenses do you get now, and do you have to uninstall the last
version of Jaws.
Michael said that you can install the new version of Jaws, and it will mask
the older version, and install without much fusss.
Paul wants to get a new pc, with Windows 10, and then install Jaws.
Bert talked highly of the surface pro tablet, its rather like a laptop/tablet
and is a product of Microsoft,
He has it with windows 10 and a windows menu, he can work it by tapping the
screen, or attaching an external keyboard and using the windows menus.
Bert also told us of a new app he has installed called Cash Reader, it will
identify the money denominations
Ie 5/10/20/50€
And he enabled siri to do this without opening the app, by adjusting the
settings in siri,
He is going to Poland, and can adjust the currency to reflect the Polish
currency.
Paul told them of a small bug, when typing in the edit field of Google,
It will say insertion point at start, then it will say cancel, to get the
insertion point at end, you must pass this cancel notice,
This has only appeared since the last ios update.
Declan discussed the launcer programme on his android phone (black berry)
The launcer can invert colours for him like white on black or black on
yellow,
Also it can select different colours for different icons on the desktop,
Also he demonstrated audio description working on his mobile using net
flicks, very impressive.
