Bob showed us his new trekking device, its called Buzz Clip,
And it vibrates to alert the visually impaired person of objects in their
path.
Its small and neat and clips onto your clothes, very impressive.
Mahon Carmody showed us and demonstrated the Clear Vision Reader, its a
little old world technology but still very impressive,
It scans a document , by photographing it and then reads the text, in a very
clear voice,
One can forward and play back the document, and increase the volume and
decrease as well.
It can also be attached to a screen where one can read the document, if their
partial sight is able to do.
Mary has a problem with her new Real Time app,
Which also has the new private busses on it (Go Ahead),
But there does not seem to be a place to store your favourites, like the old
app.
Declan is looking into her problem.
Cearbhall/Paul/Annette wer helping Mary to see if she could find a way to
change a new celtic name to one that Siri can pronounce.
Go to contact and arrow right until you hear add field, click this and arrow
to add phonetic name
Spell the celtic name in a phonetic manner, and delete the real name and
sir name, and after typing the phonetic name click done and also put in the
sir name again.
