Hi All
A special general meeting of members is being held in the League on Friday
evening 1st March, 2019 commencing at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will examine a
set of proposals drafted by the Board as part of the ongoing talks between
the League and Fighting Blindness with a view to merging both bodies.
Members who have renewed their League membership in 2019 as well as members
who renewed their memberships in 2018 are eligible to attend. This meeting
will provide an opportunity for members to renew their memberships for this
year. A number of large print and braille copies of the proposals will be
available at the meeting.
Refreshments will be provided and the bar will be opened after the meeting.
We will have a social get-together afterwards. If you can bring along any
musical instruments then please feel free to do so.
Please phone the office with your name if you intend to come along as we
will need numbers for catering purposes.
