John reported that "starring" messages is a very useful feature in android
for deferring unread messages to a separate folder for later reading.
The group tried to find the equivalent in IOS and found "Marked" and
"Flagged" as possible equivalent tools.
Annette wanted guidance on the use of Notes in the IPhone. Mary demonstrated
how to use Siri to write notes. She pointed out that it was essential to set
up a folder for Siri to write notes in.
Dominique wanted to know how to make changes to information held in the new
"Health app. " in IOS. The group agreed to research this further as we could
not find the answers during the session.
John mentioned his occasional messages to the list on items that he thought
might be of interest to IOS and Android users alike. The group welcomed his
action and asked him to keep it up.
Marion asked for information about the use of facetime. Annette reported
that it was a very clear communications method especially with people in far
away places and demonstrated how to use it.
There will be no meeting on Easter Monday as it is a Bank Holiday.
