The group started by discussing IOS 13, the latest update to Apple Devices.
This lead on to talk of some bugs with Face time since updating.
Not everybody has updated to IOS 13 in the group.
Noreen told us, she has started using her new IPhone 8. She went on to
tell us she is very pleased with the phone, especially the size.
There was a brief discussion on the various APs for radio. The most
popular seems to be Tuning Radio. Cearbhall told the group about the radio
AP he uses. The AP is called Simple Radio.
Cearbhall told the group about his experience with the Voicedream Scanner
and reader. Cearbhall needed to scan a booklet and after trying a few
different scanning Aps, such as Seeing AI and Kurtzwile, he found the
Voicedream products best.
The new Whats Ap group was also briefly discussed.
On behalf of myself and the Cork Tech Club, I want to wish Cearbhall the
best of luck, whith his upcoming surgery.
