In attendance Ken Walsh, Marta Parkinson, Pat McCarthy and Cearbhall O Meadhra
on face time.
Also in attendance was 3 transition years from a local school in the area and
one of the girls dadâs called Tom.
For those of you that remember they were in with the club in September and are
entering a young scientist competition in January and Needed some feedback
from the group.
The girls are basing their project on a program for vision impaired people so
they can scan the bar code on a food package to see if the food contains nuts
or any allergies when out shopping.
They came back to the meeting today to update the members on the progress to
the present day. Also they were looking for the groups thoughts where they
could improve. Also if the group could think of anything that the girls had
left out.
All of the meeting consisted of this topic.
The members of the group told the visitors about the seeing a i app.
Pat McCarthy demonstrated the product channel on the app seeing a i to the
girls so they could see how pat scanned the bar code of Kenâs bottle of water.
