In attendance, Derry Walsh, Ken Walsh, Pat McCarthy, Martha Parkinson, Chris
Egan on Face time and Cearbhall O Meadhra on Speakerphone.
Ken told the group about the health app on the IPhone. He gave a demonstration
of some of the features on it, including how many steps and how many Kilometers
one walks in a day.
This led on to Chris trying to see how many steps he had walked.
For some reason Chris’s IPhone would not record his steps.
Pat and Ken tried to fix the problem for Chris but had no luck. They put it
down to his IPhone 5 being to old to use some of the features on the app.
Ken checked out Derry’s IPhone 5s to see how many steps he had walked.
Derry’s IPhone seemed to recored his walking distance
fine.
Chris wanted to update the software on his phone. Pat told him how to do this.
Chris’s phone would not do the update.
All of the members felt Chris should think about getting a upgrade.
Pat bought with him a template of the ballot paper for the upcoming referendum.
He passed it around to show the group.
Pat gave a description of what the template felt like. Ken took a picture of it
and sent it on to Chris.
Chris wanted to find out about the Audible app. Derry and some of the group
shared their own experience's.
This led on to pat informing the group you can get Audible books on YouTube.
Cearbhall told the group about the different narrator voices on Borrow Box.
The next meeting is on Saturday the 7th of April at 11 o clock.
