What’s app participants Ken Walsh, Chris Egan, Jackie McBrierty, Noreen
Meagher and Cearbhall O Meadhra on FaceTime
Ken held today’s meeting from his home in Kinsale. He was able to Connect to
the various people using the WhatsApp group on his phone and FaceTime on his
iPad.
Noreen wanted to find out on how to sign out of her Audible account and sign
into another account. Ken told her the steps on how to do this.
Chris informed the group that he attended a meeting at N.C.B.I in Limerick
last Saturday where they are trying to set up a general club for people.
Ken told the group that you can mute a group conversation for a certain
amount of time
Jackie told us she downloaded an app called Voice. She uses it for scanning
documents and letters. Overall she is very impressed with it.
This led onto Cearbhall talking about some of the features of the Seeing A I
app.
Noreen told the group how she is getting on with her new cooker she
purchased.
Noreen asked the group did anyone know if she could purchased a Cain that
fold it into four sections rather than five sections.some Members told her
places to contact.
Noreen told the group thanks to Cearbhall her emails are no longer coming up
as blank to the mailing list.
Noreen asked did anyone know about a Zoomo band. She is going to send a link
to the mailing list.
Cearbhall told some of the members about his Floppy do stand that he has for
his iPhone.
Cearbhall asked Jackie to inform the group about on the uses of Alexa and
Google.
This led onto a general discussion about heating, solar panels and windmills.
Ken asked the group did anyone purchase a robotic hoover from Lidl last week.
It was felt by all the members today’s meeting was very productive and the
quality of the what’s app call and FaceTime call was excellent.
The next Cork meeting is on Saturday the 29th of June at 11 am in the Cork
city library.
