In attendance Derry Walsh, Ken Walsh, Martha Parkinson, WhatsApp participants
Noreen Meagher, Pat Carrol, Chris Egan and Cearbhall O Meadhra on the landline.
Cearbhall told the group how to do a sort inside a Word document.
Martha told the group on how to forward a text message on her iPhone following
up from her question to the mailing list a couple of weeks ago.
Martha wanted to find out on how to save a number from a text message if that
particular person wasn’t in her contacts. Ken helped with this.
Cearbhall told the group that Ken and himself tried out the join me app
yesterday. It worked okay but The conference call was not free like when using
WhatsApp or FaceTime.
Derry told the meeting he seems to be in dated with messages from WhatsApp
group messages on his phone. Ken and Martha told Derry you can mute the
particular group for a certain amount of time.
Pat told The group he has finished his level 4 E.C.D.L Course and spoke
briefly on what modules he completed.
Martha showed The group her Power bank that she purchased from Aldi a couple
of years ago. It gives her phone 2 full charges.
Chris was at a new Group that has just started up in Limerick at the N.C.B.I.
Halfway through today’s meeting Chris linked up with the Cork meeting and
introduced the people present that were with him in Limerick.
This led onto a general discussion between the two groups.
The next Cork meeting is on Saturday, the 27th of July at 11 am
