Afull house for our second week back.
A new member Damien , has just purchased a new iPhone 8 plus,
And needs some help in setting it up.
His old phone was an HTC mobile but the sim card did not allow numbers to be
stored on it as it was old technology.
A wonderful FB staff member transferred his sim card fron his old mobile
using the supplied pin,
This was successfully done (thanks Tim.
Bert showed Damien on how to create a voice over short cut ,
And Damien did this without much bother.
He will need time to adjust to the new iPhone, but will do this pretty soon.
Declan is investigating a way of transferring his contacts from his old HTC
mobile.
Marian was given much help by Cearbhall and Michael with using
The Eye-d app, but could not read all of the document she photographed,
Although using the 2 finger down , read all text. Gesture.
Some people are investigating this problem.
Damien was given advice on reclaiming vat from his purchase of his iPhone 8
plus.
