Gerry and Joe,
It is quite a challenge to decide what wireless earphones to use! Even the
wired ones are really expensive these days if you want to have any decent tone
quality for your listening.
I used only to use the wired ones but found the link cable dragging on my neck
and clothing and was relieved when the wireless type became available.
I am stunned at the price, though. I resent paying as much as $100 for a set of
earbuds. However, I gave in to some extent and paid 65$ for the Urbanista
Boston set. These connect to the phone by Bluetooth. They have a good sound
quality but might not be quite as good as the incredible sound richness that
Apple as achieved in all its devices.
Still,, I find the Apple price too much for me.
Joe, if you are looking for good audio quality, I would not recommend the €30
set from Amazon. If you can afford it, the Apple buds should give you that
superior quality sound.
Despite the rich quality of Apple's earphones, I must complain that they will
not stay in my ears and Apple don't provide any means of keeping them in place.
Urbanista do attend to that with silicon earbud covers that have a looping ring
that fits snugly inside the folds of the outer ear really comfortably.
Make sure that your Bluetooth headset fits all your needs. I found this article

I cannot offer you any practical advice about wireless headsets.
I am still part of that dinosaur group who have not been convinced that
wireless is superior in terms of sound quality to wired and much more
expensive. I still call the radio the “wireless “! But maybe somebody on the
List can enlighten me. I remember a high Apple executive giving the Rationale
for going wireless as being “the future is wireless “. I have lost a few sets
of earphones at this stage and I’m afraid my budget would not allow me to do
the same with the wireless type.
