Chris Egan and Cearbhall O Meadgher both on what's Ap.
The group started with a discussion on 2 step verification when logging on to
on-line banking. AIB have introduced this. We also spoke about the AIB mobile
banking ap.
Chris told the group about an experiment he has been trying with Google Maps.
The issue he is having - Google Maps not announcing his destination. It was
suggested Chris should try some other navigation Aps such as Blind Square,
Movit and Clue.
The group had a general discussion on employment for the vision impaired.
Noreen told us of her experience of getting back into the work force after
becoming blind and the supports she received. Chris still has no update on
when he might expect to get the assistive technology to enable him to continue
doing his job.
Noreen and Martha discussed the differences between the IPhone 8 and IPhone 6.
Noreen will soon be up grading to an IPhone 8 from an IPhone 6. Martha
recently upgraded from an IPhone 6S to an 8.
