Good morning Declan,
Many thanks for your input.
Okay, so I have this (correct name) 'Kindle Paper White',
So what are the steps forward?
Is the 'Paper White' as good as the 'Kindle Fire'?

Do I hook it up to my computer and see what serial
Or model it is?
Do I then go to the kindle website and down load
Any browser, or screen reader or software
Which I would naturally use to read on this device?
Where do I locate the tutorials for this device?
I am not too worried about font size
As I am a 'total'.
For future use and convenience,
Would I always have to find 'audio' type books
Or is there a way that I can read books
Ascribed to sighted folk?
I would imagine, that if this gets going
There would be a world of books and audio entertainment available?

Once again my sincere appreciation.

All the best,
Garth

Hi everyone,
Yes, it is possible to use Kindle.
The app works on Apple and Android smartphones and tablets and supports
changing font sizes, colours and styles.
It also fully supports Screen Readers.
Older Kindles like the Kindle 3 have a good built in screen reader
The Kindle fire tablet also has a built in screen reader.
Depending on which version of the Kindle Paperwhite you have, you may be
able to connect a Bluetooth speaker or headphones to it and it might
support text to speech.

How do we use 'Kindle' as a reader for the Blind?
Guys,
Good morning,
Can we possibly do anything with the device known as a 'Kindle Paper
Light'?
I have this legacy device loaded with tons of books.
Obviously,  it is a hand me down
From one of my sighted family.
However, none are in an audible format.
So it got me thinking,
Is their a way we as blind can possibly use
'Kindle' either the 'app'
On our 'tablets'
Or the Old device in any audible manner?
All the best,
Garth
