helpful for those that could’t make it. For those that attended, please add
anything I overlooked or omitted. Things are rapidly changing. This, will be a
great conduit, along with James, to keep us up to date [relatively]

James Brown joined at 10:30
James background is as the Emergency response coordinator for the National
Guard. He was great answering all of our questions, staying calm, and being
honest about what he can and can’t do/knows currently. We certainly have the
right person at the right time in him! HSL/CCB is coordinating their efforts
and disseminating approved messaging as it evolves.
QUESTIONS COVERED
How do family members, caregivers get in the building. Are you confirming temps
of people, dining, and caregivers?
We/HSL staff are taking temps of EVERYONE who enters 7am-9pm. Securitas does it
over night. No buzzing in is allowed. Purell at door. Nobody under 18 allowed.
Who is allowed in the building, what purposes
non essential visits are discouraged at this time, Private aides are allowed.
Communications, plans and process
Communications: voice friend, sending out communications using HSL’s emergency
contacts currently. Check your spam folder as it ends up there sometimes.
Follow up with James if you are not receiving them, he can update the list.
Encourage F&F sign ups for the resident’s loved one in future communications.
Forward any of your questions for HSL to Nina and Peter. We’ll forward to
james. Of course group discussions within F&F group are always encouraged to
the group.
Individual questions we’ll forward to James and cc the group,
Peter will look into Zoom for next week.
James will send updates to Peter and Nina, and we’ll disseminate to F&F
Food delivery, shopping, etc.
Food: Unidine doing good job. 7 days worth of food on hand, still getting
deliveries.
Grocery store trips: still running the trips, food is important.
Social isolation issues
Social workers are there.
Unidine, who is delivering meals, will let CCB know if there is someone they
feel needs follow up.
Rabbi Jim: first telephone service tried. Went pretty well.
More ideas can be circulated via the list-serve
Total shut-down scenario:
They will continue to have essential employees, similar to hospital scenarios.
What is the shut down scenario,
Essential workers are allowed = medication, medical care. Will do case by case
report if caregiver can’t get in. Cleaners are not a priority currently.
What can F&F do
be supportive, patients, call your loved ones more often, be in communications.

Moving residents out
This is independent living. You can do what you think is best. Coordinate with
Building if you need help with suitcases, etc.
Can F&F move in?
James will get back to us on this.
Elevators
- Tissen is the company, Part should arrive this week to fix front elevator.
Screened, will go right to roof. 2 weeks till they are finished. Then they’ll
go right into next elevator. Total 4-6 weeks.
- Elevators are not being used much as a result of policies in place. so nobody
in the elevators. Low demand.
- That person will be dealing with people entering the building.
