Part 2. Macs guy thinks $50,000 is not a competitive salary for interim exec 
director. Also he thinks we might have been admin heavy. So school director & 
exec director might have been overkill, possibly combine some duties. 

Per Ben Staffing: part time summer admin assistant , hire interim ED then 
revisit how to rewrite admin roles long term. Ben proposes Hiring committee/ 
interview team: consist of--parent board member, teacher board member, 
community member, a parent non board member,and a teacher non board member. the 
committee recommends to the board. Then the board decides yes or no on hire.  
pete recommends adding another parent non board member to hiring committee.  

Interim ED is short term, needs to get hired, this person can assist in making 
long term decisions ie: permanent ED job description, changes in leadership 
structures, 

Peter expresses concern about how to manage fundraising issues, what to repair 
with big donors?? Can we hire additional fundraiser?  Board says interim ED can 
oversee the fundraising.

Heidi, who hadn't been at last two meetings ( not here today) is head of 
development committee. No one knows for sure her status. Are her kids still 
enrolled? If not then she couldn't be on board anyways. They know she is 
resigning in august but...

Define what goals are for EDs time here. " what does 'done' look like? Interim 
ED time range:   6 mon-1 year.  Board moved to post interim ED position
