It's come to the attention of the Board that home owners are making their
own changes to the landscaping. Within certain rules, that's OK but
people are taking this too far. Please review the rules. Here is
a summary:
- All landscaping and bushes belong to the Association NOT to
the individual homeowner.
- You may not remove, replace, or change anything with the exterior
landscaping without prior approval. If you do so, the Board will
be forced to replace it back to prior state and send you the bill.
- If the Board DOES approve your request, you are forever responsible
for maintaining the area. We will not pay our landscapers to
maintain your plants.
- You may plant your own flowers and plants - but not vegetables or
grains - in areas where there are no plantings. See the rules.
HOWEVER, if you do this, it's up to you to maintain this. The
landscapers will not maintain it. If we have to have them clean
it up, the bill to do so will be sent to the homeowner in question.
- The landscapers have been instructed NOT to take direction from ANY
homeowner. Any landscaping issue, problem, or request MUST go through
Dase management. Dase will review these with the Board. You may not
make any changes until the Board approves it AHEAD OF TIME.
The Board is well aware that there have been landscaping issues on-
and off over the years. We do everything we can with the money we
have to keep things maintained. If you do not contact Dase with
any problems and you do not show up to our periodic Board meetings,
and you never offer to serve on the Board, there is very little we can
do for you.
Board membership is voluntary and unpaid. Please make our jobs
easier by CHECKING first with Dase Management before making ANY
outside changes to existing plants, fixtures, or building exterior.
