Jim just called me to asked if we wanted to salt today. They are laying
down a cold weather melt that works under current conditions.
The State salted last night (which is what Jim is using for guidance).
He said it was borderline whether we need it everywhere so I agreed
to have him just salt the streets at this time to keep cars from
sliding around. That is $185.
If we need sidewalks and driveways done later, we can ask for that separately.
It IS a borderline case, but I'd rather be safe than save money when it is
so cold out.
