I’ll pass this along to the board for their review.
I have engaged a tree service to trim the tree away from your house.
Sincerely,
Tom Dase

*Subject:* 820 fairmont ct...request to install retractable awning
Dear Tom:
As you are aware, my request to remove the honey locust tree from my rear yard
has been denied by the Board's tree- hugger committee.
.
As a recourse, I would now like to make a new "request" to purchase and thus
have installed a new “retractable” awning over my rear patio in order to allow
my wife & I to use our patio without having to deal with the on-going
(aforementioned) tree droppings that have been plaguing us.
.
This awning, when fully extended, will be about 12’ wide and extend out
approx. 10’ . This coverage will approximately match the footprint of my
existing concrete patio. There are no poles or supports that will come in
contact with the common area(s) as it (the awning) will solely hang & be
supported from the house proper on the fascia board above the rear patio
sliding door. When retracted, the complete awning will be contained and
obscured within in a white aluminum metal housing about 10” square and 12’
along the fascia board.
.
If you & yours are interested in viewing any further details of my proposed
retractable awning, you can simply go to the "Sun Setter Awnings" web site.
.
.Lastly, we've been trying to get Rosemont Jim to remove the 2 or so junk
dogwood bushes in our rear landscape area east of the patio and install about
5-6 new bushes. Wife Marge has already discussed bush types etc. & related
details with Jim.../(incidentally, Jim did a great job with our stone /rock
boarder earlier this spring!!/)..Moving forward, At the onset, we were
postured to pay Jim directly for this rear bushes upgrade work on the
assumption that this project was outside the scope / budget of Association
responsibility...However, In recent conversations it was since implied to us
that "maybe" the Association _does have_ budgeting for this endeavor and is
planning this work in concert with a near-future landscape program for the
facility as a whole???
.
...... In conclusion Tom,_I would deeply appreciate getting some help here_ as
unit 820 is presently at an impasse - in that: A] Rosemont Jim doesn't seem
to be responding anymore to our calls or our numerous attempts of
contact......... .B] we're not sure what the Association / Management's
position is regarding our rear landscape project or what's down their road for
landscaping and if we're part of it......because we're not hearing from either
of these parties as well??
.
I eagerly await your affirmative / prompt reply to both our awning and rear
landscape matters...OBTW the lead time on the awning is about 4-6 weeks.
