Let me see if I’m correct. I press the exit button let’s say five times. Here’s
the confuse part for me. Am I need to press SPLIT and DUAL button as the same
time to get to studio set before I press down?
I hope you don’t mind I ask too much question.

My Editor´s support for Studio Sets selection:

3. If you perform READ ALL command, via Accessibility Menu/READ DATA/Read
All - you can browse all data for the currently selected Studio Set in FA.
I have some ideas of improvement in my Editor to help you:
1. Include the number and bank of the Studio Set in the message box.
2. Include a controller feature that you can select Studio Sets and read
some information about it like name, bank, number, mode.

Does not matter if you are in Single, Split, Dual or Multi Part mode, it's
always a Studio Set.
The screen changes the layout for each mode but I think this causes confusion
to most people.
Imagine a 16 lines table, one line for each part.
- when in SINGLE mode, only the 1st line is available.
- when in SPLIT mode, only two first parts are available, range is programmed
automatically to have 1st part at the left and 2nd part at the right, based on
a split point in the keybed.
- when in DUAL mode, only two first parts are available, range is programmed
automatically to have 1st and 2nd parts layered, so both are played together
when you press keys.
- when in MULTIPART mode, all 16 lines are available, you can choose which part
you want, and program each part range to make splits, layers, so, it's very
flexible.
That´s whay I prefer to always work in MULTIPART mode because the mindset and
workflow process is the same if I want to play one or multiple parts.
In my editor, I´ve reproduced that 16 lines table, with several columns for
each setting of each part, where you can browse through the parts and columns,
it does not matter in which mode you are in FA. You can access it using
Accessibility Menu, STUDIO SET, PART VIEW.

Subject says it all. I know pressing Split and Dual will bring up Multi Part
but that’s for setting a new one up.
