Oggetto: [ezg] Joint EZH & BIAZA PWG Zoo Horticulture Conference

Dear Colleagues,

I am very pleased to announce that we are planning to hold our first face to
face group conference in 2023!

This will be a joint conference with both the EAZA affiliated European Zoo
Horticulture group and the BIAZA Plant Working Group with the aim of gathering
as many of us as possible together.  We are also aware that there may be a
number of new members to the groups that have only recently come into the world
of zoo horticulture and as such the plan is to focus on the basics of our
industry in the topics to be covered by the programme, more details will follow
on for this later.

The conference will be held at the fantastic Edinburgh Zoo in Scotland from
Tuesday 26th – Thursday 28th September 2023 for the main conference, with an
icebreaker on the evening of the 25th September 2023.

Edinburgh has a long history as a zoological garden and has some amazing
gardens and enclosures for us to discuss, including the Panda enclosure of
course!

Keep an eye on the group emails and I hope that you are able to join us for
what I am absolutely sure will be a very informative few days of lectures,
tours and networking.
