Subject: [eyre_maths] Welcome to the maths mailing list

Hi all!

I've set up a list server through freelists.org, as it seemed like an easier
solution than worrying about making sure every address is included as a CC
or BCC etc. It also gives us a bit more flexibility in how you recieve your
emails, hopefully.

To send a message to the group, just send an email to
eyre_maths@xxxxxxxxxxxxx and it will go out to all subscribers. Replies will
(should) automatically go out to the whole list as well - so take note! If
you want to send a private reply, make sure you type the recipients name in
the TO box yourself to avoid embarrassment.

If you are replying to a post, it may be good practice to check the subject
box, some email clients will keep adding RE: long past the point of
convenience, and it's difficult to know what "RE: RE: RE: re: fwd
[eyre_maths] A qu..." means when checking your inbox.

If anybody else wants to subscribe feel free to pass the following
information on:
To subscribe:
Email eyre_maths-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the subject 'subscribe'
OR
Email ashleigh.brook@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and I can add people
individually or in bulk OR visit www.freelists.org/list/eyre_maths and
follow the instructions.

You can also visit that website to recieve a digest version (a weekly
collection of all the emails) or to unsubscribe, or turn your email off
while you're on holiday.

Hopefully this is an easy way for us all to keep in touch and ask questions,
share resources etc but if there are any concerns, suggestions, complaints
please let me know.

Regards,
Ash
