Sorry you didn't read my first response. In this mail I answered Simon that
NAV is not finding Netsky. My first mail about this subject was:

Hi,
I had the same story a year ago.
Why do you have GFI mail security & NAV on the same machine???
From my experience NAV is not enough and corporate edition the same. I had
changed all my AV software on the network.
For the Exchange I'm using Sybari Antigen with 5 engines, and for the LAN
I'm using Trend Micro Office Scan.

Regards,

Dolly, you need to change your anti-virus product, asap. Make sure it has an
Exchange-aware component, and be sure to configure it to not scan the
Exchange database directories. I won't make any recommendations, as there
are too many to comment on, and most of them are perfectly adequate.

Hi all

I have exchange 2000, GFI mail security and GFI mail essentials installed on
it, NAV for Exchange, and NAV corporate edition client for file scanning,
all the recommended exclusions of the folders and extensions are made (i.e.
the inetsrv folder, the .edb, .log..stm, etc.....)

I have Windows 2000 SP4, and exchange SP3, all hot fixes are up to date
(even October hotfixes all applied on the server) the exchange august post
service pack (though irrelevant to this is applied), server is not open
relay, behind a hardware firewall.

Bottom line how come the server still gets infected with Netsky and other
viruses?

Thanks for any help
