You don't need brick-level backup to address these issues - you need a better
method of managing your mailboxes that allows the users to go get their trash
back.

See
http://www.swinc.com/resources/exchange/faq_db.asp?status=questions&faqID=1000&faqname=Exchange%205.5&sectionID=1009&sectionName=The%20Ed%20Crowley%20Never%20Restore%20Method
for information on what you should be implementing, and after doing so you can
dump your brick level backups.

On another note, I'll quote the world-famous Mister Crowley: "There are seldom
good technological solutions for behavioral problems." Educate your user base
rather than wasting time trying to work around them.

Again unfortunately I have some many people making mistakes deleting
things and having mail box level back up is mandatory for me. So I thought
there is a tool to identify those corrupted boxes

Stop doing mailbox level backups and those errors will go away.
All you need is a full, online backup of the store and a reasonable
deleted item/mailbox retention strategy.

Thank you for response but unfortunately that is not an option for me

I had the same problem and still do. I am not backing up the mailbox
with the problem. I'm trying to get the user to archive and start anew.

        Hello
I would appreciate any hint or comment on this

I am getting error on 2 of my mail boxes using veritas and it says there
are some corrupted messages in those boxes. What tool should I use to
identify the corrupted mail and delete? On of them has almost 3000 mails
which is impossible to check by hand

        Exchange 2003 with sp1 on server 2003
        Thank you
