Hello,
 
You can use the Win2k backup utility to back the the exchange
information store. This will back up the whole store not individual
mailboxes. If you want a snap-shot of a users mailbox you can use the
exmerge utility, which will copy the users mailbox to a pst file.
Veritas Backup Exec also has the ability to backup individual mailboxes
automatically. However individual mailbox backups are slow in most
cases.
