WiadomoscChris,

You could create a share on another computer (if you have a network with a
computer that has space), map that drive on your Exchange server (or use UNC
\\SERVER WITH SHARE\SHARE) and make that the destination for your backup of
Exchange.

Thanks for your quick response Ciapala.

The problem is that I cannot run a full exchange backup because I don't have
an external tape backup and when I attempt to back up to the disk, I don't have
enough disk space. So, by enabling Circular Logging.the old transaction log
will get removed automatically, over time?

  Thanks again,

  chris

Run full Exchange backup, and then if you want to get rid of logs completely,
turn on circular logging.

My exchange server seems to be running out of disk space. I noticed that I
have transaction log entries that take up over 15 gigs of space. I've checked
microsoft's knowledge base and I couldn't quite understand how to remove or
permanently delete the old logs to free up space. Can anyone tell me how I can
delete the old transaction logs.

    Thanks,

    chris
