i have installed a child domain but i had no problems what so ever.basically
when u install create a user account in your root domain and add to it the
enterprise admins and schema admins as well as domain admins. on the chid
domain log on the server using the root server account and run the
installation. when it asks for your user account specify the user account of
child domain but remember to add the child domain account to domain admins
in the child domain.hope this helps

,...
i format the child domain controller and same things same error
