test restore of exchange 2000

Hi,
I would like to test my backup of exchange 2000. I have some questions
about the test server configuration that i will be restoring to:
1. does the server need to be configured exactly the same as the current
exchange server? meaning does it need to have:
a. the same name and be in the same domain?
b. does it need to be configured the same in terms of RAID and physical
drive size?
