Hello all.
Anyone get an error when running the update for exchange 2000 sp2. You don't
have permission, you also may need to run forestprep and domainprep. I
checked permission via delegation wizard are fine and I already ran those
too when I installed the thing. I cannot get past this point any takers?

Just a correction. A user who is a member of Administrators group in NT
domain doesnot have full access to all mailboxes. The only account that has
full access to all mail boxes is the Exchange service account.

Hi,
There are two ways to do so:
First:
1. Add your CEO to the Administratotrs group.
2. Open Oulook with the CEO's profile and go to Tools - Services - Exchange
Profile and click on the properties.
3. Click on the Advanced and under the field, Add these additional
maliboxes, ad the mailboxes of all, who he would like to see.
That's it.
Second:
If you dont want to assign him the Administrator's group, then:
1. Go to the Exchange Administrator - Receipients.
2. Double click on the every mailbox (One by One-).
3. Go to the Permissions tab
4. Add the CEO's user ID in the WindowsNT user's field. Define the role as
READ only.

I have been approached by a high-official in my company requesting the
ability to read the Inbox and Sent Items of another user, any user, at will.
Using the method where I add the Recipients e-mail box to the Outlook
client, how can I configure the server to allow, for example, the CEO to add
the users to his client, and view the appropriate mailboxes, without me
having to make changes everytime he needs to do so (ie, former employees,
soon to be former employees, etc)
