scheduling on all users calendars

Hi Everyone;
Is there a way that I can schedule an appointment on all or a group of =
users calendars without using Outlook invitations. I have had a request =
for certain meetings (eg staff meetings) to be scheduled on a public =
calendar and then be entered automatically on all users calendars. We =
are running Exchange 2000. Appreciate any help on this issue.
