Byron,
Yes, you can restore Public folders to a recovery server just the way
you do in Mailbox recovery servers. If you are not sure how to build
recovery server, please search the Microsoft KB, and there is a very
nice document which tells you how to do that.

Subject: [exchangelist] restore public folders to a different location

http://www.MSExchange.org/

Is it possible to restore the public folders to a different server so
that
they can be examined? We took a server down and some of the public
folders either did not replicate or were corrupted. I need to be able
to
somehow get these folders and export them back into the new server. I
could bring up the old server and restore them to it but I am worried
about replication to the new server.

Thanks
Byron
