Correcting mself - if you hide it by un-checking "Folder Visible" under
Client Permissions in ESM, it disappears for clients.

Why?  If you set no permissions on it, it disappears for clients.  If it's
never been used, it takes up negligible space.  How is this hurting anything
other than your brain?

Hi,

 

I am trying to get rid of the 'internet newsgroups' public folder on a
win2k3 ent server running exchange 2003 ent ed.

.But I am unable to delete it. I read that some people simple gave everyone
no access to the folder, but I would prefer to delete it.

Is that possible?
