Hi, yes I have a regular domain and a subdomain. Is it still possible to remove the "domain/" from the logon? Thanks -----Original Message----- From: Dêniz Feital (Chiptek) [mailto:dfeital@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, February 20, 2003 7:15 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: remove domain/ from OWA logon http://www.MSExchange.org/ It will depend most of all if you have only one domain. If so, Go to Start, Programs, Administrative Tools, Internet Service Manager. Double Click your server, Double click on Default Web Site, Right Click Properties on Exchange, Select Directory Security tab, click Edit on Anonymous access and authentication control, Click Edit on Authentication access. There you put your domain name. Thats it. I dont remember if it will ask for restart the services, it will let you know about it, though. :-) Regards. When our users logon to OWA, they have to put in "domain/username" and password. They, however, always forget the "domain/" part and lock themselves out after three attempts. Is there someway I can remove the "domain/" part of the OWA logon? thanks much, Jared ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSExchange.org Discussion List as: dfeital@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub') ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSExchange.org Discussion List as: JaredsJazz@xxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub')
