problem sending mail with pda and Exchange

One of our employees connects via wireless (AT&T) to our Exchange 2000
server using the Tungsten W and the POP3 protocol. He has recently granted
"delegate" access to his assistant so that she also has full access to his
email account. He now notices that when she is logged onto his account he
is no longer able to send mail using his Palm. Does anyone have any idea
why this would happen or what should be done to correct it?
