no M Drive on 2000 DC

AOA all
i m new to Exchange
i installed Exch 2000 on my 2000 active dic DC.
everything installed successfully but no M drive appear, plz guide me that what
may b the reason
(as i study that M drive should appear after Installation). i tried another
server and mak it a second DC of my existing domian and installed exchange , it
is working fine and users can access their MailBoxes through OWA.
anyb'dy guide me wat is the problem on the main DC ??????????????????
