Hi Ted,

Thanks for your reply, we obviously had different issue's with similar
symptoms. In my case replication was completed and I ran it a second time and
waited a day just to be sure.

I am glad to hear that it is working for you,

Jose :-)

Solved.

This was due to a replication problem. The ADC had not fully replicated
and once it was resolved, AD contained the requisite information to move
the mailboxes.

Hi Ted,

I have seen the same thing happen during my 5.5 to 2003 migration, but
it only happened on 5 accounts the other accounts did not have this
issue and I was running the Move Mailbox option from the local Exchange
2003 server.

I recreated the accounts and it then worked, however I never really
determined what caused it to occur on only those 5 accounts.

Regards,

Jose

Are you running the System Manager from the client or the Exchange
server?
I have seen this when running the system manager from a client
workstation.

Hi All,

I am in the process of migrating users from Exchange 5.5 to 2003. I have
the necessary trusts in place and the ADC set up for 2 way connection
agreements. The 5.5 server is in a seperate domain (old NT4) and the
users
have been migrated to the new 2003 domain.
The trouble is that when I click on exchange tasks for AD users with
mailboxes on the 5.5 server, I do not have the option to move the
mailbox.

can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks
TD
