message dates

Here's a puzzler...

I have recently written a simple script which as part of its output generates
an email message which is dropped into the PickUp folder of an Exchange
server. This seems to work fine except that Outlook displays the delivered
message as having been sent in 2005!

Below is the header from the message that is delivered. As you can see all
dates are 27 May 2004, but Outlook shows the sent date as 'Thu 27/01/2005
03:41'. Where is this 2005 date coming from?
