I can not send email to 2 companies but can send to anyone else. I can use Telnet to open a SMTP session with their email server and I can send an email that way. I am trying to figure out when in the process the error happens. Can anyone tell me what logging or monitoring to turn on to see this. I get a 7010 event error in the event viewer but it is just a xexch500 command followed by a 504 need to authenticate first and Microsoft says that is normal and should not stop the email from going through.
